Obituary


Lois Ann Conner, 81, of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley.



Born on October 30, 1935 at Raleigh, she was the daughter of the late John and Leoma Hilton.



Lois Ann was a lifelong member of Fayetteville Baptist Church.



Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Warwick “Pete” Conner; precious daughter, Laura Beth Conner; siblings, Harold Hilton, Darold Hilton, Maryann Yost, and Tommy Agon.



Left to cherish many wonderful memories are her son, John “Rob”...

Left to cherish many wonderful memories are her son, John “Rob” Conner and his fiancée, Pam Tucker from Cross Lanes; daughter, Susan L. Jones and husband, Lee R. of Oak Hill, three granddaughters: Christina (Alex) Plogger, Jennifer (Jay) Davis, Samantha (Fred) Wright; two grandsons, Caleb Jones and Conner Jones; and 9 great-grandchldren.



Funeral services will be 11 AM, Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home with Rev. David Sneed and Pastor Ron George, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville.



The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Monday, May 15, 2017 at the funeral home.



In lieu of flowers, donations in Lois Ann’s memory may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children through Beni Kedem Shrine, 100 Quarrier Street, Charleston, WV 25301.
